Allihies Village Hostel is a friendly place to stay run by father and daughter team, Michael and Sarah Coughlan. The hostel offers warm hospitality on the Beara Peninsula. Allihies village is on the very western tip of the wild and rugged Beara peninsula where the cliffs meet the Atlantic Ocean. On a map of the Ireland you will find us at the very southwest between the Kerry peninsula and The Mizen Head. Recently renovated and extended to add a new lounge, more rooms and a large sheltered courtyard the hostel is comfortable and conveniently located in the village of Allihies. Facilities include:
Twin rooms (singles available off season), Family rooms, Doubles and twin rooms, Dorms, Free Hot showers, Cots and high chairs on request, Games and Books, Guide books, Maps and Information, Kitchen with fridges and cookers, Laundry, Lounge, Outdoor barbecue, Bicycle hire is available in the village.

The Beara peninsula is perfect for kitesurfing and wndsurfing although the possiblities for wave riding are unknown. The other peninsulas in the area are highly regarded but Beara remains a relatively undiscovered spot.
