From your base at Bagwell Farm Touring Park, there is the entire wealth of Dorset, within easy reach, for you to explore. Weymouth, just 4.5 miles to the east, is the main resort with clean sandy beaches and a thriving fishing harbour. By night there are a wide variety of pubs and restaurants to enjoy as well as leading entertainers performing at the Pavilion Theatre. Further east lie many secluded coves including the most famous, Lulworth Cove. To the west, following the coastal path running parallel to Chesil Beach, lies Abbotsbury with its ancient Tithe Barn and Swannery, beyond which are the beaches and sandstone cliffs at West Bay.

Nearby Weymouth is a famous spot for all levels of windsurfer & kitesurfer. Portland Harbour is especially good for beginners since you can stand up in the water quite a long way out.
