Named after the Porto Batel`s beach, the Batel Surf Camp was the first of his kind located in the southern part of Peniche. True surf lovers and experts say that it is the best located camp in the area. Sheltered from the predominant northern winds, our camp base provide everything a surfer needs; a good place to rest, all the necessary surf equipment , and it`s an excellent starting point to all the surf trips and party nights. Our mission is to provide you a great time. We have an excellent team who will try to give you the best out of every day. You can rely on our experience and knowledge of the region to guide you to all the best places, and help surfers of all levels to ride the best waves.

We can say for sure that our accommodation has a lot to offer. At arrival you will pass a large patio, half of which is covered with green grass, ideal for outdoor meals, some relaxing moments or even a major party. Across the patio there’s a traditional barbeque house with a fully equipped kitchen. Still in the barbeque house, we have a free pool table, colour TV and a DVD player with a large collection of movies (including surf movies) as well as internet service. The main building has three rooms that are equipped with bunk beds, ranging capacity from 2, 4, and 6 persons, with 2 separated bathrooms. Available for our guests there are a washing machine where you can do your laundry, and a special place to keep all the surfing gear.
