Cross the road from the campsite and you are among the sand dunes of the North Northumberland Heritage Coast and Beadnell Bay. The local village has a fish and chip shop, a couple of pubs serving food and a traditional general store. The local beaches of the North Northumberland Heritage Coast provide long stretches of sand, with rock pools to explore when the tide is out. Beadnell Harbour is a great place for watersports. Divers, anglers, windsurfers, surfboarders and canoeists are welcome. The site has an external shower for people in wetsuits. The following facilities are also available at this site; toilets, washing-up sinks, showers, chemical disposal point & a laundry.
