Black Rock Sands is a well established touring and camping park situated behind the dunes of Black Rock Beach. Sprawling sandy beach, with entrance from the site, that is ideal for bathing, boating and water sports. Good beachcast fishing, excellent base for touring the Snowdonia National Park. There are many varied attractions in the local area. Rallies welcome.

According to Windsurf magazine, this long beach has fairly flat water in light winds and is ideal for beginners during these conditions. However, there is a slight rip tide present here and when the wind picks up, so does the swell. In stronger winds with big waves, the location is excellent for more experienced wave sailors.
