The fine sandy at Sandsend beach with good surf is a popular destination for sunbathers, swimmers and surfers alike. Another feature which draws many enthusiasts are the rugged cliffs, perforated by caves or ‘hob holes’ which were reputedly occupied by hobgoblins. This hostel is a mill, and annexe, in a steep ravine running down to the sea. Facilities include a lounge, TV, self-catering kitchen, dining room, showers, toilets, drying room and cycle store.
