You will find a warm and pleasant welcome waiting for you at Brontes Guest House. Our aim is to provide all the comforts of home and a warm and friendly atmosphere. Brontes have both en-suite and standard rooms, all equipped with a colour television and tea & coffee making facilities. There is a comfortable television lounge with a playstation to keep the kids amused, and we also have a well stocked bar. The town of Scarborough has all you would expect from Britain’s oldest and most attractive resort. There is, of course, the beach and harbour, a Norman castle and a wide variety of shops in our modern shopping precinct. There are plenty of pubs and night clubs for the energetic. Scarborough is becoming a popular place for surfing. It is a walkers paradise with the Cleveland Way passing through it.
Unlike South West England, this area has a number of reefs that can churn out world-class surf in the right conditions. Don’t go expecting to surf in your boardies though, its cooold. Click here for Cheekeemonkee Surfboards’ guide to the Yorkshire coast.
