Open from April - October, the Cairnsmill Bunkhouse is situated in a quiet location only one mile from centre of St Andrews on the picturesque East Fife coast within close proximity of a choice of sandy beaches and golf courses. There are a total of 18 dorm beds but camping is also available on site. The bunkhouse has all the usual facilities including laundry and drying facilities, a basic shop and internet access. Linen is included in the nightly charge. West Sands and East Sands at St Andrews are both regularly used by surfers and there is a dedicated kitesurf school on the beach itself making use of the shallow seas in the area.
