Casey’s Caravan Park is situated on the edge of Sheephaven Bay in the fishing village of Downings, 40Km from Letterkenny. The site is bordered on one side by the main road and on the other by a safe sandy beach which stretches for 1.5Km. Shops, pubs and a hotel are all within 200 yards of the site entrance. Sheephaven Bay is ideal for water sports. The Rosapenna Championship Links Golf Course is just 1Km from the site. This small peninsula area jutting out into the Atlantic has interesting walks and drives. There is a windsurf and sailing centre in Sheephaven Bay which is popular in the summer months. The area also seems perfect for kitesurfing with many enclosed falt water streches and safe launching points.
