Channel View is a no smoking guest house situated in a terrace, designed by a local architect, built in 1827, with 20th century amenities. Overlooking the beautiful Weymouth Bay, 15 metres from the beach. The accommodation comprises seven bedrooms on three floors; doubles, twins and singles, five of which are en-suite. Our dining room is light and airy, looking out to sea. Breakfast consists of a selection of juices, cereals and fruit, traditional English fayre, toast and preserves. Freshly made tea and coffee. There is a comfortable lounge, or sit on the patio and watch the world go by.

Weymouth & Portland are considered to be first class locations for windsurfing and kitesurfing and are visited by thousands of surfers throughout the year. Together with Weymouth, it hosts a number of annual events including the Four Nations Windsurfing Championship. Portland Harbour’s sheltered location allows it to be used both by expert and beginner surfers. Measuring 3 x 2 miles, this historical Harbour of national importance can be sailed in any wind direction.
