Club Marina LandesClub Marina Landes

Mimizan, known as the “Pearl of the Cote d’Argent”, is found on the Atlantic coast of France in the massive forest of Les Landes. It was the first ‘bathing station’ in the Landes and was created at the end of the 19th century. Mimizan Les Bains (its name at the time) was popular and attracted many famous people who spent time there including, amongst others, Winston Churchill, Coco Chanel, Salvador Dali and Charlie Chaplin. In 1911, the Duke of Westminster built the Chateau de Woolsack that has survived to this day. A short 500m walk from a beach of fine sand, hidden in the pine forest behind the sand dunes, you will find the Club Marina-Landes waiting to welcome you into its comfortable and dynamic atmosphere to ensure you have an enjoyable holiday.
