Eastern Slade is a site for those searching for peace and quiet, there is space for a maximum of 5 caravans and 15 tents. Eastern Slade overlooks Port Eynon and Horton beaches and the quiet beach know as Slade Bay is a short walk from the camping field. Slade Bay is sandy inlet which is safe for bathing and playing in the rock pools, this beach very rarely gets crowded. One mile away you have the small village of Oxwich with its 2 miles of sandy beach. Oxwich has a few local shops and a family run hotel which serves meals and beverages all day. Oxwich marsh is the perfect place to observe the wildlife, from herons, duck, pheasants, otters, rare butterflies and plants.
