This spacious 17th century building is tucked away on the edge of the city and is surrounded by tranquil grounds. A walk along the historic ship canal or expansive River Exe (where herons and kingfishers sometimes linger) will lead you towards the Quay and the beautiful cathedral in the heart of the city. The centre is only a 10-minute bus ride away and has many intriguing attractions to explore - the Royal Albert Memorial Museum to name just one. Safe cycle routes, Powderham Castle, the east and south Devon coasts and rugged Dartmoor are all within easy visiting distance.

Situated just on the edge of the estuary, this hostel is ideally placed for making the most of Exmouth’s kitesurfing scene while still being close to the action in Exeter itself.
