Formerly a Victorian hotel acquired by the National Trust to preserve and protect this most unique location, this newly restored building now offers first-class facilities and has stunning views out to sea over Lizard Point. Almost the most southerly building in England, it provides a superb base for exploring the spectacular coastline of this historic peninsula. This hostel is also within easy reach of all the exciting attractions west Cornwall has to offer.

Porthleven has acheived cult status as one of Britain’s best waves. The locals are well onto it of course and must be respected at all times. Don’t go if you’re not an experienced surfer.
