Caravan and camping holidays in a beautiful location ideal for surfing and kitesurfing on the Pembrokeshire coast.
On site we have a loo block that is lit at night, free showers, washing up facilities for campers, water stand pipes in every field, chemical loo disposal point, public telephones, ice pack freezing facility and a basic shop supplying milk, postcards and camping goods.
All the caravans on site are fully serviced and privately owned. A percentage of these caravans are available for sub-let by their owners, all are under ten years old and subjected to annual gas appliance safety checks. To obtain a list of owners please contact us. Camping space is limited in the school holiday periods so early booking is essential. At all other times it is possible to just turn up unannounced although it is advisable to give us a call if you can. In keeping with our policy of maintaining a site that is suitable for families we do not accept large groups of unaccompanied teenagers. Pitches are large and all have a view of the sea.
In the school holiday periods bookings are taken for stays of a week or more, at all other times any length of stay is possible. We make a nightly charge for dogs and ask that they be kept on their leads around the site. There is ample space to let them run free on the remainder of the land. We have several sandy beaches in the area and are fortunate enough to have private vehicle accecs to Porthselau so consequently it is occupied mainly with site visitors and locals. Its clean soft sand, rock pools and gentle tides make it the perfect beach for families. At certain low tides throughout the year it is possible to walk across the sand to the neighbouring beach of Whitesands, at other times it is just a short walk across the headland along the coast path. Whitesands is a good surfing beach where all the gear can be hired. We like to think of Pencarnan as a low-key rural haven where the trappings of modern life are kept to a minimum.
