The hostel is located in Ballinskelligs overlooking the bay and is adjacent to the local ‘Blue Flag’ beach and village. Local tourist attractions include Skellig Rock, Valentia Island, Kilreelig Famine Village, Ring Forts at Cahirciveen and Kerry Way walking routes. The hostel, built in 2003 is registered with Failte Ireland and meets the highest standards of comfort and convenience for guests. It consists of 14 twin-rooms ensuite, 7 bunkrooms, dining room, lounge area and 2 fully equipped kitchens. Ballinskelligs is a Gaeltacht (where Irish is spoken) situated just off the Ring of Kerry road, between Killarney & Kenmare on the Iveragh Peninsula. The bay itself has a number of good spots for boardriders and there are many more uncrowded locations for you to discover in the area.
