St John’s is a pretty chalet bungalow a 1 minute walk from the beach. A generous Full English breakfast, selection of cereals, toast and preserves, fresh fruit and yoghurt, is served with fruit juices, tea and coffee. The cottage styled guests’ area is self contained and consists of double and triple rooms with seperate bathroom, dining room and pool/games room. Tea/coffee/hot chocolate making facilities,TV/video and hairdryers are provided in each bedroom. The guest lounge has a TV/video/DVD, Pool Table and dart board. We are a 5 minute walk from the local shops, restaurants and pubs. Ideal base for windsurfing, sailing, golf, horseriding and birdwatching in Langstone / Chichester Harbours and Farlington Marsh.

Hayling Island has long been popular with windsurfers and can boast some of the best kitesurfing conditions in the UK. This is due to the West Winner sand bar, which is visible from mid to low tide. This produces ideal learning conditions, as you have shallow flat water for over a kilometre out to sea.
