Situated in the most northwesterly village on mainland Britain, Durness is a small traditional crofting community. The Lazy Crofter is a small hostel, traditional yet modern with a cosy and informal atmosphere. We offer quality self-catering accommodation to groups, families and individuals at unbeatable prices. There are a minimum of rules but a strict “no-smoking” policy exists. Set between powerful mountain and coastal scenery the Bunkhouse enjoys wonderful views over the North Atlantic Ocean. The Lazy Crofter is owned and managed by Robbie and Fiona Mackay, who pride themselves on the warm atmosphere and genuine highland hospitality on offer to each and every visitor.
