Hayling Island is an excellent touring base for Portsmouth, The Isle of Wight, The New Forest, Beaulieu, Chichester, etc. having excellent access to motorways and the continental ferry port at Portsmouth. Our site is a quiet family site, near a public house that caters for children. Hayling Island has safe beaches having won the Blue Flag for cleanliness many years running. Windsurfing, sailing, horse riding, golf, tennis and walking can be enjoyed here. Dogs are permitted with conditions. There are electric hook-ups available, as are all the usual facilities you would expect from a popular well established camp site.

Hayling Island has long been popular with windsurfers and can boast some of the best kitesurfing conditions in the UK. This is due to the West Winner sand bar, which is visible from mid to low tide. This produces ideal learning conditions, as you have shallow flat water for over a kilometre out to sea.
