The Rose Garden is a gracious Victorian terraced house situated close to the shops, the station and within five minutes walk of the sea. We have two excellently furnished en suite double bedrooms and one twin bedded room with adjacent private facilities. We have been awarded 4 diamonds by the English Tourism Council, and are very excited to have been included in the 2003 edition of The Rough Guide to Britain. Current prices are between £25 - £30 per person for bed and breakfast, with reductions for stays of three days or more, or if you are booking all three rooms. There is no smoking and usually no children, but the latter is open to negotiation.

Saltburn is a north-facing spot with surf either side of the pier while Saltburn Point is a reefbreak at the eastern end of the beach. This place is one of the best in the area for surfing and is popular as a result. Click here for a guide to surfing in the North East.
