The Sheiling achieved the coveted Golden Egg AA Award for Breakfasts in 2003 and Joan was also a runner up in the AA 2003 Landlady of the Year Award. In addition to being a member of Scotland’s Best B&Bs with a Scottish Tourist Board grading of 5 Stars, The Sheiling is also an award winner with the ‘Which? Good Bed & Breakfast Guide’ and enjoys 5 Diamond AA status. It is also recommended by acclaimed guide books such as Off the Beaten Track, Stilwell’s, The Rough Guide and ‘Le Guide du Routard’.

The Sheiling is a non-smoking establishment with 2 double rooms and 1 twin room all with ensuite shower rooms. All rooms offer extremely comfortable beds with freshly ironed linen and are decorated to a very high standard. One looks out over the patio garden and the other two rooms give breathtaking views over Melvich Bay.
