Tongue Youth Hostel is a magnificently situated Lodge on the shores of the Kyle of Tongue. The hostel has extensive views all round - among the best in Scotland. There are miles of pristine white beaches where Grey and Common Seals can be seen basking on the sandbanks. Many species of bird and plant life inhabit the moors and shore. Salmon and sea trout fishing are available on the Kyle of Tongue, with brown trout fishing on the lochs. Come and spend time with us, you’ll receive a warm welcome in a comfortable hostel. At the time of writing, this hostel was under going some improvements so ring before you go.

This area is a soul surfer’s dream. Miles of pristine beaches with dozens of empty breaks. Who knows what you’ll find when you go but catch it in the right conditions and it could be the trip of a lifetime.
