Whitby is nestled in the coast and right next to the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Perched dramatically on the headland, YHA Whitby has panoramic views of the harbour, coastline and imposing abbey ruins.Facilities include a lounge, self-catering kitchen, dining room, showers, drying room, lockers and garden but no cycle store. Watch the brightly coloured fishing boats bringing in their catch or spend a day on the sandy beaches within walking distance of the hostel. Explore the nearby moors and dales and cycle along the disused railway line to Robin Hood’s Bay. All in all, it’s the perfect seaside location for the outdoor-minded.
